DUB IN ZION is volume 2 in the Zion I Kings' dub series. This latest edition follow on the success of the 2016 DUB IN STYLE tribute to Style Scott, legendary drummer of the Roots Radics and Dub Syndicate. Zion I Kings' bass player and producer Jah D (David Goldfine) contributes most of the dub mixes on DUB IN ZION but fellow ZIK members Laurent Tippy Alfred and Moon Bain are represented as well.

From the old school phone ring sound effect wake up call on "Babylon Remove Dub" to the cutting kete hand drumming on the final track "Iritical Repatriation Dub", this collection has everything for the roots dub fanatic. Plenty of echo and delay touches weave in and out of mixes throughout the tracklist. Stand out selections include "H.I.M. Teachings Dub" which features Drew Key's hammering keyboard line perfectly intersecting with the bottom melody of the trombone. Also noteworthy are "Faithful Dub" with brassy and moody horns and the quirky, acoustic plucks crosscutting the trombone on "Into Law Dub".
