MARKETPLACE is the latest addition to the always rootsy Zion I Kings Riddim Series.

This four song collection features the voices and lyrics of the reggae heavy hitters long associated with the Zion High Productions, I Grade Records, and Lustre Kings labels.

Pressure starts it off with the title track, an ode to the joys of buying and selling in the "Marketplace" where everyone "a gwaan good." Akae Beka's "Described Peculiar", an uplifting call for Rastafari redemption through steadfast devotion, showcases Vaughn Benjamin's majestic vocal prowess. Veteran Glen Washington intones against the division and confusion caused by "Too Much Religion." The set is sealed by "Binghi Man a Call" with stalwart Lutan Fyah warning the weak heart to "stop yuh coming and come" as he exhorts "in everything remember sweet Africa."

A bright and bouncy horn line moves the MARKETPLACE riddim forward and helps to make Volume 5 another of the instant classics from the Zion I Kings Riddim Series.
